By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents.

3.The petitioner is a retired employee of the respondent corporation. He was working as a Tradesman (special). He seeks notional promotion to the post of Junior Engineer. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 09.02.2018.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
