ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to conclude the enquiry that has been initiated pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner on 30.12.2020.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and his family members were excommunicated and they were not allowed to participate in the temple festival by paying necessary tax. The petitioner made a complaint before the respondents on 30.12.2020 in this regard. The first respondent, by his notice dated 07.01.2021, had directed the third respondent to give his report within a period of two days.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that no report was submitted before the first respondent and there is absolutely no progress in the enquiry conducted by the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.4656 of 2021 Therefore, left with no other alternative, this writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to conclude the proceedings, after getting the report from the third respondent and after affording an opportunity to all the parties concerned within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
