PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents No.1 to 2 to instruct the Respondent No.3 to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2020 in accordance with law. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Alagumani For Respondents : Mr.R.Anandharaj No.1 to 3 Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents No.1 to 2 to instruct the Respondent No.3 to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner s representation dated 13.02.2020 in accordance with law.

2. Today, when the mater is taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint of the petitioner was taken in CSR No.20 of 2020 and during enquiry it transpired that there was dispute between the petitioner and his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3727 of 2020 uncle Andiyappan on one side and and the village headman Periyasamy, Namachivayam and his children on other side. The petitioner had lodged a complaint that the fourth respondent is threatening him. Durign enquiry it was found that the dispute was with regard to who is to manage and the administer the village temple. The respondent police apprehending law and order problem in the village due to dispute between two groups had referred the matter to the Tahsildhar for conducting peace committee meeting and it is pending before the Tahsildhar(Manapparai). He would also submit that based on the outcome of the peace committee meeting the respondent police will take appropriate action.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
