O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to conduct a peace committee meeting based on the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 05.03.2018. 2.Heard Mr.N.Anandakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there are two temples namely, Arulmigu Kunjankuli Sappani Temple and Arulmigu Annakamatchi Amman Temple situated at Anumathurmedu in Velliyanoor Village. He further submitted that there are two groups in the village in respect of worshiping in those temples and hence, a case was filed and an order has been passed. As per the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.6780 of 2009, a Peace https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Committee Meeting was conducted by the second respondent on 01.09.2009, in which, no consensus was arrived at and hence, the second respondent has passed an order under Section 144 Cr.P.C restraining both the groups not to celebrate the temple festival, till the matter is amicably settled. He further submitted that subsequently, both the groups have jointly submitted an application before the second respondent permitting them to celebrate the Kumbabhisekam and Kumbabhisekam was held and thereafter, again dispute arose between the two groups. Hence, he requested to direct the second respondent to conduct a Peace Committee Meeting. 4.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the order passed by the second respondent dated 01.09.2009 is still in force. He denied the allegations that the second respondent has permitted the people to conduct the Kumbabhisekam and hence, he opposes this petition.

5.The petitioner has not produced any material to show that the second respondent has permitted the village people to conduct the Kumbabhisekam for the aforesaid temple. However, considering the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2018 and pass appropriate order, within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the aforesaid observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
