O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the crop insurance amount to the petitioner for the period 2017-18 by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 12.09.2019. 2.The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the third respondent submitted that the petitioner had paid the crop insurance premium to the third respondent. While doing so, by mistake, the lands were shown to be situated at Vettanur village. Considering the same, only a compensation of Rs.1,303/- was paid to the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation and based on this representation, the mistake was identified and it was found that the lands belong to the petitioner are situated at Pangayathankudi and the compensation was determined at Rs.68,223/-. Accordingly, the balance compensation 2/4

amount of Rs.66,920/- was paid to the petitioner on 28.04.2021. The UDR Number for the payment of compensation was also produced before this Court.
