This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give permission and provide police protection for the "Nadana Natiya Nigalchi" (Adal Padal) to be conducted on 16.01.2018 at Arulmigu Sri Kattu Muniyandi Thirukoil situated at Mettu Street, Pethaniyapuram, Madurai.

2.Heard,Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that every year the village people are celebrating the 'Adal Padal' by conducting the programs such as "Nadana Natiya Nigalchi", likewise, on 16.01.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said place and for that, they have already given a representation to the respondents and no order has been passed till now.

4.The learned Government Advocate has not raised any serious objection.

5.Considering the above said submission, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 12.01.2018.

6.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
