For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.49 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under sections 447, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.49 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The petitioner is having some dispute with the defacto complainant. On 08.02.2020, the petitioner and his wife are said to have attacked the victim with iron rod. The victim was in hospital for more than 14 days.

4. Taking note of the overt act attributed to the petitioners, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. The criminal original petition stands dismissed.
