ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners and their family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that respondents are searching one Selvam, who is the husband of the first petitioner herein, frequently harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the respondents are searching one Selvam, who is a history sheeter; that the first petitioner is the wife and the second petitioner is the son of the said Selvam, that is why the respondents went to the house of the petitioners and that they have not harassed the petitioners and their family members. He would further submit that they have known to whereabouts of the said Selvam.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either sides, the petitioners are directed to share the information with regard to the whereabouts of the said Selvam, if it is know to them. The second respondent is directed to proceed with enquiry in accordance with law, but without making harassment to the petitioners.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
