This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament schedule to be conduct Tournament from 12.01.2018 07.00.p.m., to 13.01.2018 10.00.p.m, at Kaveri Thidal at Manamedu. 2.Heard, Mr.M.Bindran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducts Kabadi Tournament. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has proposed to conduct kabadi Tournament from 12.01.2018 07.00.p.m., to 13.01.2018 10.00.p.m and for which, he gave a representation on 08.01.2018 to the respondent. But, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondent. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 08.01.2018 and dispose of the same within a week.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
