ORDER
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to file a charge sheet in Crime No.629 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the de facto complainant and based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II in Crl.M.P.No.798 of 2024, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II directed the second respondent to register an FIR. Based on the same, a case has been registered in Crime No.629 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), 441, 447, 468, 339, 350, 120(b) and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Thereafter, the second respondent has not conducted proper investigation and so far they have not filed any final report. Hence, the petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the case is under investigation and they will complete the enquiry and dispose the same within a period of one month.
4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition and recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the second respondent police to complete the investigation, within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file final report immediately after completion of investigation.
5. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
