This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of "Adal Padal" on 14.01.2018 night at "Arulmigu Sri Pattalamman Thirukovil" is situated at Kallimanthayam, Ottanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District performing by "The Nanbargal Narpani Mandram and The Best Friends" and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2018.

2. Heard, Mr.R.Karthicrajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted "Adal Padal" programme. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a proposal to conduct "Aadal Padal" programme on 14.01.2018 and for that, he gave a representation on 06.01.2018 to the second respondent, but, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the second respondent.

4.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the respondents will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 06.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 13.01.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
