ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.53 of 2024, dated 11.04.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the de facto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, a case in Crime No. 53 of 2024 has been registered for the offences under Sections 448, 323, 427 and 506(1) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, but thereafter, the respondent has not conducted a proper investigation and so far, not filed any final report. Therefore, the present petition is filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that they already concluded the investigation and filed final report on 20.02.2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is only limited purpose of filing a final report and the same was already filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
