This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the third respondent to appoint the petitioner as Village Assistant by considering the petitioner's application dated 27.02.2018. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that although the petitioner attended the interview for appointment to the post of Village Assistant, he has not been provided with any appointment. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner had already crossed the age limit and hence his case could not be considered. 4.Per contra, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on the date of application, the petitioner was well within the age limit and so far, no one has been appointed in the said post.
