This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting Aadal Paadal Dance Programme on 15.01.2018 (Monday) night at about 07.00p.m., to 12.00pm., in Manthai North Street, Meinuthampatti Village, Virudhunagar District with respect to Maalai Anithal Festival for Arulmigu Sri Sundaramahalingam Temple on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2018. 2.Heard, Mr.S.Karthick Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and M/s.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted Aadal Paadal Dance Programme. This year it was scheduled to be held on 15.01.2018 (Monday) night at about 07.00p.m., to 12.00pm., and for which, he gave a representation on 09.01.2018 to the respondents. But, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents.

4.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that on the same day a Jallikattu programme also to be conduct the schedule at Palamedu, Alanganalloor and it is not possible to give any protection to the petitioner's village.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the application and pass appropriate orders to the petitioner at early.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
