PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's wife Jinofer Roomana, aged 21 years, before this Court and set her at liberty and pass such further or other orders.

O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by G.K. ILANTHIRAIYAN,J.) This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to secure and produce the detenue namely Jinofer Roomana, aged 21 years, before this Court.
2.The petitioner fell in love with the detenue and got married at Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple, Keelakarai, Ramanathapuram District. While being so, she was taken by her mother illegally without her consent. Thereafter, the detenue did not return to his home. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the 3rd respondent police.
3.On enquiry, the third respondent police found that the detenue is aged about 21years and she got married the petitioner and the detenue is in her mother's house. She was secured and produced before this Court. The detenue deposed that she went to her mother's house on the hope that her parents will accept their marriage. But however, on her arrival to her mother's house, her mother refused to accept her marriage and also did not permit her to visit the petitioner's house. Now, she does not want to go with her mother and she wants to go with the petitioner, who is her husband.
4.Recording the said statement, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
