This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting the "Adal Padal dance programme" on 15.01.2018 on the eve of the Urchava Thai Pongal festival in "Arulmighu Kaliamman Kovil" situates in Ya.Narasingam Village, Y.Othakadai Post, Madurai District. 2.Heard, Mr.K.Dhanasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Bhagavathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted Adal Padal. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a proposal to conduct Adal Padal on 15.01.2018 and for that, he gave https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representations on 03.01.2018 and 05.01.2018 to the respondents, but, so far, the said representations have not been considered by the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representations and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.01.2018 and 05.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 14.01.2018.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
