O R D E R

The petitioner seeks police protection for the parish priest and church members of the St.Lourde's Church, Sundaranachiapuram, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District.

2.The learned Government Advocate states that the laity are divided into two groups.

3.It appears that there is a communal fault line running through. When that is so, this Court will not be justified in directing the police to act in support of a particular group. The petitioner will have to necessarily establish their right only before the jurisdictional civil Court. In a writ proceedings no relief can be granted.
