ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.01.2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 307 & 506(ii) IPC 1/3

and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2012 in Crime No.2 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to civil dispute, the petitioners and other accused abused and attacked the defacto complainant. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that in fact, the petitioners are entitled for statutory bail and hence, he prayed to grant bail to the petitioners. 4.In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this criminal original petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the trial Court for statutory bail.
