O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, challenging the impugned order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.368/Camp/SDOT/TIN/2017 dated 21.12.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to grant permission and adequate police protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament at Ammankovil Thidal, Melaputhaneri Village, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District from 05.01.208 to 07.01.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Though the petitioner has asked for larger relief, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to give one more representation to the respondents, fixing the date for conducting Kabadi Match. If any such representation is given, the second respondent shall dispose of the same. Further, the petitioner should give undertaking that any communal leaders will not participate in the said programme.

4.With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
