Prayer :- To direct the Learned Principal District Judge, Madurai to dispose the Original Suit filed in O.S. No. 99 of 2014 pending on the file of the Learned Principal District Court, Madurai within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court and pass any other order or orders as this Honourable Court. ORDER:- This Civil Revision Petition is coming on for orders on this day under the caption "Extension of time for Lower Court" and upon perusing earlier order of this Court dated 07.03.2022 and the requisition letter submitted by the Principal District Judge,Madurai,in D.No.5324 dated 20.06.2025 seeking further extension of time for disposal of the case in O.S.No.99/2014 on the file of the Principal District Court, Madurai,this Court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 07.03.2022, directed the Court below to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.99 of 2014 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
2. Thereafter, heeding to the request of the learned Principal District Judge (FAC), Madurai, vide letter dated 12.07.2022, this Court by order dated 25.07.2022, extended time for a further period of six months. Thereafter, considering
the request of the learned Principal District Judge (FAC), Madurai, this Court by order dated 31.01.2023 extended the time for a further period of six months. Again the time was extended by an orders dated 07.08.2023, 24.08.2023, 04.03.2024 and 17.10.2024.
3. Now, the learned Principal District Judge, Madurai, once again addressed a letter in D.No.5324/2025, dated 20.06.2025, whereby and whereunder stating some reasons, he requested further six months time to comply with the order dated 07.03.2022 made in this Civil Revision Petition.
4. Considering the reasons stated by the Court below for extension of time, six months time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply with the order dated 07.03.2022.
