ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to give permission to the Licenced Plumbing Members to do plumbing works for drinking water connection and underground drainage and to process the application from the house owners by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2017. 2.Heard Mr.M.Ajmal Khan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Murali, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, the respondent has made a publication in Daily Thanthi on 19.07.2017 by introducing new mode stating that the house owners can directly apply for the drinking water service connection and drainage. The petitioner association being aggrieved by the same sent representation dated 21.08.2017 to the respondent seeking to permit the members of the petitioner's association to do plumbing works for the above said purpose. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
