ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to remove the property in S.F.No.221/1E situated in Pudukkottai District, Viralimalai Taluk, Bhuthakudi Village, from Patta No.1300 and include the same in Patta No.535, based on the rectification deed dated 28.04.2014, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 20.05.2014 and 31.01.2018. 2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the properties in S.F.Nos.221/1B and 221/1E measuring to an extent of 50 cents. While so, one Abdul Jaleel is said to have purchased the property in S.No.221/1E by means of a sale deed from a third party. Thereafter, patta has been transferred in his name.
However, based on the criminal complaint given by the petitioner before the Anti Land Grabbing Special Cell, Pudukottai District, the above property has been released by means of a rectification deed dated 28.04.2014. Subsequently, based on the above release deed, the petitioner has filed an application as early as on 20.05.2014 before the respondent to issue patta in his name. Thereafter also, he has made several https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
representations. But, so far, no order has been passed. In the above circumstances, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation is pending with the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as rival claimants, if any.
4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
