ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Revision Petition dated 16.02.2018 and consequently direct the first respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cancel the patta granted in favour of the fourth respondent and grant patta in favour of the petitioner in Survey Nos.229 and 229/1 to an extent of 5.5 and 2.70 acres of land respectively, situated at Vagarai village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District. 2.According to the petitioner, he has filed an appeal before the second respondent against the order, granting patta in favour of the fourth respondent. Even though the above appeal was taken on file in the year 2013, so far, no order has been passed. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the fact that the appeal is pending from the year 2013, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
