This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to transfer the investigation from the 1st respondent to some other Inspector of Police within Tuticorin District.

2. Heard Mr.KA.Raamakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents and perused the records.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that a complaint was given to the first respondent. Though, the complaint was registered under Sections 342, and 323 of IPC., the respondent police has not taken into account the fact that the allegations also will attract Section 4 of TNWH Act.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), on instructions, would submit that the final report has been filed on 29.07.2017.

5. In the said circumstances, this Court is able to see that the grievance of the petitioner is addressed and hence, no further order is necessary. Therefore, recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
