O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent No.3 to remove the names of the petitioner's daughters from the smart card in Smart Card No.26G0130011 at Aruppukottai in order to include their names in the smart card in Smart Card No.33356962808062 by considering the petitioner's representation on 01.07.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already sent a representation before the respondents on 01.07.2025, seeking to remove the names of the petitioner's daughters from the smart card in Smart Card No.26G0130011 at Aruppukottai in order to include their names in the smart card in Smart 2/6
Card No.33356962808062. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Special Tahsildar for Civil Supplies, Aruppukottai is the competent authority to consider the petitioner's representation. However, the petitioner has not impleaded the said authority and has not given any representation before him. Therefore, if any representation is made by the petitioner before the said competent authority, the same will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the petitioner to send a representation to the Special Tahsildar for Civil Supplies, Aruppukottai. Upon receipt of the said representation, the Special Tahsildar for Civil Supplies, Aruppukottai is directed to consider and pass orders on the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
