PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the 1st Respondent to conduct appropriate enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2026, to furnish the specific written reasons for disqualification of the petitioner in Tender Notice No.12/2025-26/HDO/NH, dated 01.12.2025 and reconsider the petitioner's technical bid by applying the tender conditions uniformly to all bidders and permit the petitioner to participate in the further tender process including consideration of the financial bid. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent herein to provide reasons for rejecting the technical bid submitted by the petitioner. Apart from that, the petitioner has also prayed for disposal of his representation dated 02.02.2026 wherein he has raised objections with regard to the acceptance of the technical bid of the other bidders.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has brought to the notice of the Court that on 06.02.2026, an order has been communicated to the petitioner pointing out the reasons for rejection of the technical bid. Therefore, the first part of the prayer has already been acceded to by the respondents, and therefor, no further orders are called for.

3. As far as the second part of the prayer with regard to the consideration of the representation is concerned, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2026 and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
