This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 1 to 3 respondents to file a Final Report/Charge Sheet in Crime No.86 of 2017, dated 17.02.2017 within the period stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed to direct the respondents to file a Final Report/ Charge Sheet in Crime No.86 of 2017, dated 17.02.2017 within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.K.Safar Badhusha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.86 of 2017, under Sections 406, 420, 468, 471, 294(b) and 506 (i) IPC. It appears that the dispute is also in respect of some properties. However, having regard to the serious allegations of cheating, forgery, etc., the learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the investigation is going on and within a period of four months investigation will be completed and final report will be filed.

4. Recording the undertaking of the learned Government Advocate

(Crl.Side) and on the basis of the stand taken by the third respondent police, this Court is inclined to allow this petition. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed with a direction to the third respondent to file final report in Crime No.86 of 2017, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
