JUDGMENT

(1)The above Criminal Appeal is preferred by the appellants / A1 and A2, challenging the order dated 07.02.2026, passed in Crl.MP.No.49/2026, passed by the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge, PCR Court, Madurai.

(2)The learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] submitted that the prayer in the criminal appeal has become infructuous since the appellants 1 and 2 were detained under the Goondas Act, pursuant to the Detention Orders passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Madurai District, dated 16.02.2026 and 12.02.2026 in BBCDEFGISSSV.Nos.03/2026 and 04/2026 respectively. The learned Government Advocate [Cril.side] has also produced copies of the said Detention Orders before this Court.
