Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.158 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The victim in this case was beaten on the head by the petitioner and two others and he is said to be in a serious condition. Already a surgery was performed on him.

4. Taking note of the serious overt act attributed to the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant relief. The criminal original petition stands dismissed.
