ORDER

The petitioner applied to the first respondent seeking issuance of passport. Since it was not being process, the present writ petition came to be filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was clarified that there is no criminal case registered against the writ petitioner. Therefore, there is no impediment for considering the petitioner's request. The first respondent is directed to process the petitioner's application and issue passport to the writ petitioner subject to fulfillment of the usual formalities.

3. This writ petition is allowed. No costs.
