For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in crime no.20 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under sections 294(b), 323 and 307 of I.P.C., in Crime No.20 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner attacked the victim with knife on his head. The victim was in hospital from 09.02.2020 to 24.02.2020. The victim is said to have deposed as a witness in a case several years ago and that is said to be the motive for the occurrence.

4. Taking note of the overt act attributed to the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant relief. This criminal original petition stands dismissed.
