ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to permit the petitioner to place the idol of Goddess Anbil Mariamman in the lands belonging to the petitioner in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

S.No.101/11, Mangammapuram Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District.

2.According to the petitioner, as per custom, the above said idol will be placed in the petitioner's land in S.No.101/11, Mangammapuram Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District during Panguni Festival. While so, now the third respondent rejected his claim for having the above said honour during the year 2010. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 14.10.2010. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Admittedly, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent during 2010 for getting the above honour, which is still pending. When the appeal is still pending with the first respondent, the petitioner cannot seek for the similar relief before this Court. However, since the appeal is pending with the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the rival parties, if any. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
