ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner on 17.06.2013, pending before the first respondent in ref.O.Mu.6809/2016/Vu(2) dated 08.06.2017.
2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.No.64-30A situated at Melayur Village, Thirumangala Kottai, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District, measuring to an extent of 75 cents. Now, without the petitioner's knowledge, during UDR scheme, the above land has been sub divided into S.Nos.64/30A2 and 64/30A3 and the sub division in S.No.64/30A2 has been made in favour of one R.Perumal. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has given a petition before the first respondent on 17.06.2013, based on which, the first respondent has also called for report from the concerned Tahsildar and other authorities. Despite a recommendation made by the Tahsildar, so far, no order has been passed by the first respondent. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.Considering the fact that the petition filed by the petitioner is pending with the first respondent from the year 2013, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petition dated 17.06.2013 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and any of the interested parties. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
