Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.3, to publish the results of the written examination and the interview test held for selection to the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer in pursuance to the notification No.R1/5838/2017, dated 03.05.2017 issued by the respondent No.3 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.A.Thirumurthy, learned counsel, who takes notice for the third respondent. 2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The third respondent conducted a selection process for the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer. Totally, 206 vacancies were notified. The written examination as well as the interview were held. Though the process got over long time back, till date the results have not been announced. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent/University submitted that on account of closure of some schemes and projects, the third respondent is in the process of re-assessing the exact number of post for which appointments have to be made. This process may take a few more weeks.

5.Therefore, the third respondent is directed to publish the results of the written examination as well as the interview held for the selection to the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer pursuant to the notification dated 03.05.2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
