(Crime No.144 of 2013) : Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, directing the respondent to file a Final Report before the concerned Magistrate Court, in Crime No.114 of 2013 pending on the file of the respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a Final Report before the concerned Magistrate Court, in Crime No.114 of 2013 pending on the file of the respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. It is submitted that though a criminal complaint was registered in the year 2013 for the offences under Section 306 of I.P.C., there is no further progress and that therefore the petitioner stated that he is constrained to file the present petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on instructions submitted that an enquiry was conducted and the investigation was also completed. He further submitted that final report will be filed within two weeks.

5. Considering the statement of the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) and the pendency of the criminal complaint at the enquiry stage for more than four years, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to file final report before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

concerned Magistrate Court in Crime No.114 of 2013 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
