O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mudukulathur to complete the trial of the criminal case in STC No. 66 of 2023 in Crime No. 45 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.

2.According to the petitioner, they are the accused in this case and the case is pending from the year 2018. Hence this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case is posted for examination of witnesses and they will produce witnesses as directed by the trial Court and also co-operate for the speedy trial.

4.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to issue direction in this petition.

5.Considering the fact that the case is posted for examination of witnesses and long pendency of this case, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case as early as possible without granting any long adjournments beyond fifteen days.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
