O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to extend the petitioner's transportation contract for civil supplies by considering the petitioner's representations dated 02.01.2026 and 05.02.2026 within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner submitted representations on 02.01.2026 and 05.02.2026 for extending his transportation contract. However, since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate for the respondents, would submit that within a considerable period, the representation would be considered.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subsequently, the first respondent is directed to release the amount within a period of two weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.
