ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to file the final report before Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvadanai, Ramanathapuram District in Crime No. 264 of 2023 on the file of the respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complaint in this case and based on her complaint, a case in Crime No. 264 of 2023 has been registered and thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and not filed the final report.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the respondent would submit that already they have completed the investigation and closed as mistake of fact. To that effect, a report also filed before Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai.

4. The prayer of the petitioner is to complete the investigation and the respondent police has already completed the investigation and closed as mistake of fact, and the closure report also filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the appropriate forum, if she is aggrieved by the 2/4

above said closure report. Therefore, by preserving the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the closure report, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
