O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give permission for distribution of Annadhanam and Conduct Siruthondar Drama on 27.04.2025 and 28.04.2025 in the eve of Chithirai month Festival in front of Mahamariyamman Temple situated at Ammankudi Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District and consider petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, he is one of the members of the Vizha Committee for the Mahamariyamman Temple situated at Ammankudi Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District. In the event of Chithirai Thiruvizha, the committee have decided to conduct Annadhanam and Siruthondar drama on 27.04.2025 and 28.04.2025. Therefore, they have sought for permission from the second respondent through the representation, dated 31.01.2025. But the same has not been considered so far. Hence this petition has been filed. 2/5

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation, dated 31.01.2025 is under consideration. If the petitioner gives an undertaking to conduct the event without creating any law and order issue, the respondents will consider and dispose of the same within a period of one week.

4.Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration before the second respondent and the petitioner also undertakes to conduct the festival without creating any law and order issue, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.01.2025 positively and dispose of the same, within a period of one week, from the date of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 19.02.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
