This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to expedite the trial in C.C.No.643 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the case is posted for argument before the trial Court on 04.06.2024. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alankulam, Tenkasi District to conclude the trial in C.C.No.643 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
