ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 420 IPC in Crime No.3 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The case of the prosecution is that this petitioner was working as Assistant Manager in Indian Overseas Bank, Ilayangudi Branch. Defacto complainant in this case is the Branch Manager of Indian Overseas Bank. It is the case of the defacto complainant that this petitioner in connivance with other accused kept the account of some pensioners' alive, knowing full well that those pensioners died and issued cheque books relating to their account. With the cheque books so issued, this petitioner and other accused have forged the signature of the deceased persons and withdrawn around Rs.12,00,000/- from their account. A3 has been arrested in this case and this petitioner has been suspended from service.

4. Taking into consideration the serious nature of allegation against this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
