ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of SC/ST Cases, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur to complete the trial in Special S.C.No.17 of 2021 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is residing in the Palluthupatti Village, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District. He would further submit that the distance between the Kariapatti and Srivilliputhur is nearly 50 kilometers. It is very difficulty to the petitioner to attend the Court regularly. The petitioner is regularly appearing before the Court from 02.11.2021 onwards.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit the trial is not yet commenced.

4. In view of the above said submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, sofar trial is not yet commenced. The trial.. 2/4

prescribed under Special Court, no direction may be issued. considering the difficulties faced by the petitioner 02.11.2021, the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
