: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2021 seeking to remove the sand around the drainage channel and cover the channel properly being constructed at Idaichanoorani Village, Vathalkari Panchayat, Vilathikulam, Tuticorin within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made a representation on 02.02.2021 stating that the work has not been done properly and there is likelihood of damage. Seeking appropriate orders on the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the present writ petition and earlier representation given are nothing but an extension of private dispute raised by the petitioner against the Contractor, as he insisted upon doing some work with respect to his property.

3. Be that as it may, we do not wish to go into the merits, in view of the pendency of the representation. In such view of the matter, the respondent No.2 is directed to pass appropriate orders https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.5124 of 2021 on the same, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
