O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give better treatment to the petitioner's husband Murugan (prisoner) in the Government Hospital, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District in order to secure the life of the petitioner's husband and to recuperate him from the danger of life.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner took the stand that the petitioner's husband who is the remand prisoner requires better treatment.

3.The learned Government Advocate has produced a letter of the petitioner's husband, in which the petitioner's husband has conveyed that he has no problem in his physical condition and that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

he does not want any treatment.

4.Though, this Court, wants the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner to once again meet the petitioner's husband and get some explanation for the letter which he has given to the respondent police, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not inclined to verify the veracity of the letter of the petitioner's husband given to the respondent police. The attitude of the learned counsel for the petitioner cannot be appreciated. Therefore, it is obvious that the intention of the petitioner is something else. Hence this Court cannot entertain the petition, merely on the basis of some apprehension, which cannot be appreciated. The conduct of the petitioner shows that the petitioner cannot be shown any indulgence. Hence the Criminal original Petition is dismissed with a cost of Rs.2,000/- payable to the Honourable Chief Justice Relief Fund, Madras High Court, Madras.
