ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.10.2014 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 449, 302, 506(ii) IPC r/w 149 IPC in Crime No.246 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. There are totally 22 accused in this case, out of whom, 15 accused have been named in the FIR. The name of this petitioner appears in the FIR. It is seen that on 29.10.2014, this petitioner along other co-accused came in cars and motor cycles and indiscriminately attacked the deceased. it is alleged that this petitioner was in possession of a stick and was also a part of the gang that assaulted the deceased. The defacto complainant, who is the eye-witness is the father of the deceased. This petitioner was arrested only on 29.10.2014. It is further stated that investigation is pending and some of the accused are yet to be arrested. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration the brutal manner in which the offence is taken place, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner.
