Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned election notification issued by the second respondent diocese dated 09/03/2018 and quash the same and consequently to direct the 1st respondent herein to take appropriate steps to verify the voters lists in the Churches affiliated to the Church of South India Diocese of Madurai and Ramnad and allow the voters by duly verifying any one of the original identity as prescribed by the Election Commission of India and conduct the election of the churches affiliated to the second respondent by appointing a retired Judicial Officer not below the rank of a District Judge as an Election Officer by disposing of his written representation dated 15.02.2018 within a time limit that may be fixed by this Court.
