This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondent to issue patta to 1/4
the land bearing Resurvey No.199/1C1 to an extent of 10 cents situated at Thanakkankulam Village, Thiruppramkundrum Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025. submitted to the respondent herein by registered post.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a representation has been submitted for the survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 2/4
15.04.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any.
