RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant extension of time for compliance of the order passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14705 of 2020 dated 14/12/2020 on the file of this Honourable Court.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.ESWARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit to comply the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.14705 of 2020, dated 14.12.2020.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 14.12.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No. 14705 of 2020 and one of the condition is that the petitioners have to jointly pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- directly to the defacto complainant. He further submitted that initially the defacto complainant had not received a sum of Rs.10,000/- as order of this Court and later it was received. CRL MP(MD) No.1955 of 2021 3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted and if the petitioners fail to comply with the order within the stipulated period, the respondent police shall secure the petitioner and proceed in accordance with law.
