ORDER

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct respondents to conduct survey based on the petitioner's application dated 28.01.2025.

2. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

3. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. The petitioner claiming that the property devolved on him under the gift has made an application to the third respondent for conducting survey and fix boundaries. The said application was made on 28.01.2025 and since the respondents have not taken any steps to 2/5

conduct the survey based on the petitioner's application, the present writ petition has been filed.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner's application for survey and fixation of boundaries is admittedly pending from 29.01.2025, it would suffice to issue a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to conduct the survey based on the petitioner's application and pass orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
