ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 14.07.2017 for the offence punishable under Sections 436 IPC @ 435 of IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.282 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity between one Shanmugaraja, who is the friend of the de facto complainant and the petitioner herein, the petitioner set fire on the auto of the de facto complainant and caused damage worth of Rs.1.65/-.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit on instruction that the petitioner is the sole accused. He further submitted that investigation is pending.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the gravity of offence said to have been committed by the petitioner and caused damage worth of Rs.1.65 lakhs and investigation is pending, this Court not inclined to grant bail to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
